Electric Literature: Open Submission. Deadline 30 April.

Electric Literature is an independent publisher amplifying the power of storytelling through digital innovation. Electric Literature’s weekly fiction magazine, Recommended Reading, publishes one story a week, each chosen by today’s best authors and editors.

Recommended Reading is now open for submissions until the end of April. They are looking for original and unpublished works of fiction between 2,000 and 10,000 words in length. Electric Literature will pay selected contributors a fixed fee of $300.

Electic Literature state that although they accept simultaneous submissions, if your story is accepted elsewhere, you must withdraw it immediately. They are only able to consider one story by an author at any given time.

To submit your story, visit Electric Lit’s submission portal. The deadline for submissions is 30 April 2015.
