The text tells the story of the deep link between the past, present and future through the memory of my grandfather, marked by hardships, but who was able to pass on essential values to the present generation, to whom the fight for a better future falls.

A call at the end of the line.
Just a breath, like the wind, far away, the past!
I think of my grandfather, tired and exhausted by wars, hardships, and separations, but deep down I tell myself that grandparents, and even parents, held on. Despite all the hardships of the past, they managed to pass on to us the true values that could emerge from that past: our languages, our stories, and our ways of life, so that we would never forget where we come from.
Following my grandfather, there is me. Yes, the present, the familiarity with everyday events. We try to do our best. The world is complicated. But we learn to understand each other, to know each other, to work together despite our differences and disagreements. Little by little, we move forward, we tolerate each other, we think together for a better life in mild climates and in an environment as depleted as before.
I hear the last breath, the breath of the future. Perhaps we won't be here anymore, perhaps we'll still be here, but one truth remains certain: the world we build today, together, defines the world of tomorrow.
The past speaks to us.
The present shapes us.
And the future is already listening.
Together for a better future.
