A Feriwala & the Weight of Noise 01
Pintu Bisoyi
India
About this piece
I grew up watching feriwalas enter quiet lanes at dusk. Now, they carry more than goods—they carry noise. In my work, sound becomes weight, pressing on body and land. Between nature and machines, we’ve learned to bear this invisible burden, forgetting what lightness feels like.
