How we are helping

This project aims to inspire writers and equip them with the skills to participate in creative processes through a series of writing workshops, culminating in a storytelling festival.

About the project

As more writers in Antigua and Barbuda submit work to international publishers and competitions, local writing communities have recognised the need for greater access to skill development opportunities.

‘In celebration of our voices’ will deliver a series of writing workshops, led by expert facilitators. The project will culminate in an in-person and online festival that celebrates written and oral storytelling.

As a result of this project, it is hoped that more people, regardless of age, will be inspired to write, share their work, and enter creative writing competitions.
