WSA Cameroon: Young English Cameroonian Writers Award

Young English Cameroonian Writers Award

In the process of reinventing the Africa we want, we must revisit our past, revive our indigenous practices, reconstruct our narratives, and re-strategise. How does poetry help to rethink our identity, reclaim what we lost, and redefine a new path for cultural awareness and wellness?
We are looking for poems that unearth narratives of the past to rewrite a future of cultural renaissance for the purpose of preservation.

We accept poems of any format or style. However, we would love to have entries that push the boundaries of what defines contemporary poetry. We applaud creativity, authenticity, and originality.
