Kampala International Theatre Festival (KITF): Call for participants

Applications for KITF 2025 are open!

Curated by Tebere Arts Foundation, the Kampala International Theatre Festival (KITF) is a 5 day celebration of theatre through thought provoking panel conversations, exhibitions, masterclasses, workshops, stage readings, installations and full theatre productions. The Kampala International Theatre Festival has been in existence for the past 11 years.

This year, will be the 12th Edition of the Festival and it shall run from 26 – 30 November 2025 in Kampala, Uganda.

The festival only caters for your airport pick up and drop off, meals, room and board, on-ground transportation during the festival and an appreciation fee after your performance. The festival only provides this for the creative team directly involved with the productions or works once selected.
