Gently Rippling Waves Poetry Prize
Gently Rippling Waves is inviting submissions to its writing competition for the best work of poetry on the theme of ‘Disappearing Cultures’.
At our core, we are dedicated to showcasing the abundant talent thriving within the Commonwealth, celebrating the beauty of language and the power of storytelling. Our goal is to recognize individual poets and cultivate a sense of belonging and pride within the larger community.
We recognize that every creative work is as distinct as the artist, and we hold authenticity, originality, and innovation in high regard.
Prizes:
Our best entrant will receive $150. A selection of our favourite entries will be featured on our platforms.
Non-Prize:
We encourage 100-word story applications on the same theme as well! Our best pick and a selection will be featured on our platforms.

Entry Rules and Requirements:
- The competition is open to individuals from Commonwealth countries.
- All submissions must be written in English or transcribed.
