About this piece
Original
English translation
We as a human being have complex relations with other beings and our surroundings. The relations are like an illusion crafted in an intricate manner. The poem represents those unseen and unheard threads which binds us through the realm of connections. If one person tries to understand the matter and supply a calm wave, thread remains intact and beautifully preserved, but if both strike from ends; snap! the thread breaks in complete stillness. If we are tied with every relation, we might suffocate; that's why some become distant on their own, breaking the thread and tie open our emotions. Similarly if all cords get cut, we would be limp and loose our existence and hence balanced spontaneity is a part of life. Relations showered with love, nurtured with tenderness, often becomes indestructible.
हाँ शायद ;

“Threads — delicate yet indestructible”
Threads
Of bonds
Of body-mind-soul —
Of life.
What strength they hold?
“Must we break them in order to check this?”
Not necessarily.
When forcibly pulled from one end,
A peaceful serene wave from other side prevents the breakage.
Sometimes we bend while holding the fragile piece,
Sometimes the person on the other end.
Only then do the fibers stay healthy.
The thread flourishes.
But when the delicate cord is wrenched from both ends
Silence!
A thread deals with no decibel when it breaks.
“Not even a little sound?”
—who is there to hear?
Who stops to speak or listen after the thread snaps?
Many incomplete stories; they collapse.
We are bounded by these countless threads
“Is it possible that someone cuts them midway?”
Possibly
Sometimes for our goodwill,
Sometimes for their own.
“Do we cut them ourselves sometime?”
Perhaps. In bewilderment!
Yeah then,
Via these numerous threads, we are all bind
Some breakage, some knitting- it’s all a part confined.
Maybe that’s why we are in a balance.
Because if all the existing threads were tied
We would feel tethered.
And if all got denatured
We would cease our existence.
They are crucial…
Threads.
Of bonds,
Body-mind-soul — of life.
