AFREADA Literary Magazine Submission Call

AFREADA are inviting writers to explore A Day in the Life. They’re looking for short, fictional stories that open the door to mundane moments and allow us to find beauty and meaning in the ordinary rhythms of living; the quiet routines, the fleeting encounters, the subtle dramas of daily life.

Submissions to AFREADA are free to make and are open to all. Stories must be set on the African continent. The deadline for submissions is 17 October 2025. Accepted submissions will be published in the next issue of AFREADA and writers will be paid £100.
