The People's Voice

In October 2024, leaders from 56 Commonwealth countries will come together in Samoa at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). The Commonwealth People’s Forum is taking place alongside the summit and is the single largest gathering of civil society in the Commonwealth system.

We’re hosting a series of online regional Critical Conversations to help shape the agenda at the Heads of Government meeting and the People’s Forum and we’d be delighted if you could join us and share your expertise. 

Together, we’ll identify opportunities for collaboration around four themes: health justice, climate justice, freedom of expression and Commonwealth reform.

The first, global Critical Conversation kickstarted the process and took place in November 2023. The regional conversations will take place as follows:

• February 2024: Caribbean and the Americas
• March 2024: Africa and Europe
• April 2024: Asia and Australia
• July 2024: Pacific and New Zealand

At these events, you’ll be able to connect with leading policy experts and practitioners in your region and feed into regional and global priorities for the People’s Forum and Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa.
