Zeenat Haroon Rashid Writing Prize for Women

We are delighted to share that the 2023 Zeenat Haroon Rashid Writing Prize For Women is open for submissions for both published and unpublished female writers of Pakistani nationality or heritage.

This year the Prize will be awarded for FICTION. Submissions should be a short story on a theme or subject of your choosing as long as its location and canvas is recognisably Pakistan. Entries should be prose writing in English of no more than 3000 words in length. 

Prize:

•  Cash prize of Rs.100,000
