Brick Lane Short Story Prize
The Brick Lane Bookshop Short Story Prize 2026 is now open for submissions to writers from the UK and Ireland!
Entrants to the prize must be aged 18 and over. 1st Prize is £1,000. 2nd Prize is £500. 3rd Prize is £250.
The 12 shortlisted stories will be published in the Brick Lane Bookshop New Short Stories 2026 anthology.
A limited number of free low-income entries are available at the organisers’ discretion.
