Across the Commonwealth, access to healthcare remains deeply unequal, with many communities continuing to face barriers to affordable, quality and timely care. This session will explore how community-led innovation, partnerships and advocacy are helping to close these gaps by improving access to healthcare, medicines and essential services. Bringing together governments, civil society, health practitioners and innovators, the discussion will examine how successful local solutions can be adapted and scaled, the partnerships needed to sustain them, and how communities can play a central role in shaping more equitable, resilient and people-centred health systems.
