The Simple Script Writers Project

The Simple Script Writers’ Project, an annual writing competition, is a writing project that was founded in 2024 primarily aimed at supporting writers in Ghana and in the future all writers globally. For Writers to be seen, acknowledged and rewarded for the talents and abilities they possess. It’s an opportunity for those who love to scribble out their thoughts and those who find solace in reading. Not all stories would be published, but truly, all stories can be seen.

The theme of this year’s competition is ‘The Concept of Religion’. The overall winner will receive GHS 7000 and submissions will open on 30 May 2026 and close on 30 September 2026.
