Look Aside – Short Film Fund

Look Aside is incredibly excited to open their short film fund for a second year.

They’ve opened this fund to provide more opportunity for emerging voices and filmmakers. Finance opportunities are few and talented artists are many, so they want to do as little or as much as they can to help bring more stories to life.

This year, the fund is of total value £5000 cash, as well as additional support from them and from their partners for the selected short film, and for all 10 shortlisted films. The fund accepts projects from filmmakers across all degrees of experience or past work. The main focus is unique voices and perspectives and they’re completely genre-agnostic. The fund is open for filmmakers worldwide.

Applications are free to make and the submissions deadline is 23 November 2025.
