We’re pleased to share an excellent write-up by Olivia Snaije of a recent evening of events co-organised in Frankfurt, with our partners KfW Stiftung, around the translation of Arabic literatures and why so little of it reaches European and US readers. The evening also featured readings by young Arab writers who have benefited from the workshops KfW Stiftung supports in the region, whose work we have been proud to feature in our magazine adda. This collaboration is part of our ongoing work to foster literary translation and a greater diversity of creative narratives. Please read the full article on Publishing Perspectives here.
