Will has recently joined the Commonwealth Foundation after finishing postgraduate study.
He helps coordinate Commonwealth Writers’s digital platforms, events and publications.
He studied for a BA in English Literature and an MSt in World Literatures at the University of Oxford, where he held the Violet Vaughan Morgan Studentship. His research focused on ecocritical and institutional approaches to sustainable literary globalism.
Between degrees, he worked for Shalini Ganendra Fine Art in Kuala Lumpur, where he co-developed Gallery Weekend KL, the largest visual arts festival in Malaysia.
Elsewhere, Will plays cricket, paints portraits, and nurses a fraught relationship with the writing of J. M. Coetzee.
