Lydia Mbogoro

Lydia has recently joined the Foundation working to support the participatory governance and gender programme, and is enthusiastic to develop her skills and understanding of programme development and management.

As well as working with the Foundation Lydia is also currently a fundraising volunteer with Womankind Worldwide, and has previously volunteered with Balloon Ventures in Ghana and with Bristol Refugee Rights.

New to international development after recently completing a postgraduate degree in Development Studies at SOAS University of London, through which she developed an interest in urban development, women’s capacity to access resources within the urban space, and the feminisation of labour.

Lydia has recently taken up yoga, enjoys exploring for good coffee as well as listening to podcasts and swimming.
