Comfort Osilaja

As the Grants Managers, Comfort is responsible for the delivery of the £1m grants programme which enhances the capacity of civil society organisations to collaborate with each other, engage in participatory governance and increases opportunities for collaboration and learning with institutions in governance.

Comfort has worked in the international development sector for over 15 years. Before joining the Commonwealth Foundation, she spent 2 years working for Care International UK as the Regional Programme Manager for West and Central Africa, working with Care country offices in these two regions. Prior to this she worked with PATH National Ltd, managing a portfolio of traineeships, guiding and supporting the trainees as they developed their chosen careers. Comfort also spent 12 years working for CAFOD in the Africa department where she was responsible for the development and delivery of programmes in West and Central Africa.

Comfort has an MSC in Human Resources from University of the South Bank, and a Postgraduate Diploma in NGO Management from City University London.
