Publishing Portal
Commonwealth Writers is contributing to the quest for a more equitable publishing industry, to help talented writers from all parts of the world to get their voice heard. CaribLit was formed in April 2012 in partnership with the British Council and the Bocas Literary Festival in Trinidad. Its aim is to link the Caribbean to the rest of the literary world and help to kickstart a publishing infrastructure across the region. We’ll keep you up to date with its progress and invite you to post your thoughts about publishing in your region on our publishing portal.
We’re keen to know about the challenges you face in getting published wherever you are. Please share your publishing experiences, including local initiatives that may have worked in your country, ones that you think might work, and ones that were less successful. Each Commonwealth country is represented on our interactive map. Please go to your country’s page and leave a short post about your experience or observations.
