LITERATI – THE SOUTH ASIAN AWARD for Micro Fiction.

Literati invites writers to break through the mould and explore daring stories that defy tradition and ignore taboos.

The deadline for submissions is 15th July, 2018.

Send in your entries at submissions@outcastmag.com with the subject line [Literati Award]. There is no entrance free for participation.

 

Theme # 1: The Fifth Rivulet

With this theme we are looking for bold, daring and creative pieces that push the plot in horror, action, thriller, tragedy, comedy, sci-fi, fantasy or any genre that you love.


Theme # 2: Mosaicked Souls

With this theme we are looking for plots that revolve around spirituality, religion, tragedy, mental health, mystery or peace.

 

Word Limit: 2500 words.

Writers may submit only ONE piece on either one of the themes. Outcast encourages writers to submit queer lit, however, as a collaboration between three organisations writers may submit any work as long as it is on theme and adheres to the submission guidelines(outcastmag.com/literati).

All 20 finalists will receive a free of cost print copy of the publication.
