Kendeka Prize for African Literature

Submissions for the Kendeka Prize for African Literature are now open.

Entry is free and the Prize will be awarded for the best unpublished short story either in fiction or creative non-fiction. The prize is as follows:

First prize: 100,000 Kshs

Second prize: 50,000 Kshs

Third prize: 25,000 Kshs

All long listed stories shall be published in an anthology later in the year. Judges and the date of the award ceremony will be announced at a later date.
