Goa is the smallest state in India, known for its beaches but oft-ignored for its history, culture, literature, and languages.
The Joao Roque Literary Journal aim to promote and showcase Goan literature and invite you to submit your stories, poetry, book reviews, art, and articles. They are open to all residents of Goa, Goans in the diaspora, and non-Goans exploring Goa-related issues.
The Joao Roque Literary Journal will also host an Annual Short Story award of Indian rupees 10,000.
