The 2019 Charles Causley International Poetry Competition is now open for entries!
This year’s competition will be judged by Michael Rosen.
Furthermore, the competition is now able to accept competition entries and payments online.

The closing date for the competition is midnight on Monday 11 November 2019 and the winners will be announced in the New Year.
- The 1st prize winner will receive £2,000 plus a one week writing residency at Cyprus Well, Charles Causley’s former home in Launceston.
- The 2nd prize winner will receive £250 and the third prize winner will receive £100.
- Five Highly Commended poets whose work shows particular promise will each receive £30.
- Competition entries cost £7.50 for one poem and £5 for subsequent poems.
