Summer Flash Fiction Competition

We are now accepting submissions for round ONE of our 2024 Summer Flash Fiction Comp!

Entries are open from 15 January – 11 February.

Theme: Wave.

Word limit: 100 words (not including title).

First prize: Publication on our website and social media, a copy of Pulitzer Prize-winning Stay True by Hua Hsu plus a copy of the latest issue of Aniko Magazine.

Runner up: Publication on our website and social media, plus a copy of the latest issue of Aniko Magazine.

Email your entry and a short bio to submit@anikopress.com with the subject line “January Flash Fiction Comp.” Entries are limited to two per person. Feel free to interpret the theme however you like – be daring, be imaginative, have fun! Winners will be announced on 19 February.
