Lisa Allen-Agostini is a journalist from Trinidad and Tobago. The author of the teen action-adventure novel The Chalice Project (2008), she co-edited the crime anthology Trinidad Noir (2008). She was shortlisted for the Hollick Arvon Prize for emerging Caribbean writers in 2013 and was the 2014 Dame Hilda Bynoe writer-in-residence at St George’s University, Grenada. She founded and chairs the not-for-profit company The Allen Prize for Young Writers, an organisation dedicated to developing the talents of writers aged 12-19.
