"I made the jump to fiction as I realised that fiction has this much broader market. If you do it well you're not necessarily preaching, and you can let your characters speak for you... with fiction you have this unlimited amount of people whose voices you can appropriate."

Diana was interviewed at the 2013 BOCAS Literature Festival in Trinidad.

Diana McCaulay, Regional Winner 2012 CSSPAward-winning Jamaican short story writer and novelist Diana McCaulay was the 2012 Commonwealth Short Story Regional Winner for the Caribbean for her story The Dolphin Catcher. Based in Kingston, Jamaica, Diana is also the CEO of the Jamaica Environment Trust.
