The 2013 Commonwealth Shorts continue to win awards and stimulate debate in many parts of the world.

At the 9th Belize International Film Festival 2014:

Tom’s Dairy by Oscar Kightley won Best Short.

PLACEnta by Jules Koostachin won Best Documentary in the Short Documentary Category,

Passage by Kareem Mortimer received a Special Jury Mention in the Narrative Short Category,
